1S160 - One way valve with connector
Used with a liner and a suspension sealing device -such as 1S500-.
The one way valve pushes the air out of the socket during stance phase and prevents it from returning into the socket during swing phase.
The resulting vacuum reduces shearing and friction forces, and therefore allows a better contact between the liner and the socket.
1S160 pack contents :
- 1 one way valve
- 2 elbow connectors
- 2 straight connectors
- 1 silicone tube
- 1 polyamide tube
The connectors come in 2's, so that the anti-return valve can be used with both trial socket and final socket.
Option 1S161 : pack of 5 valves without connectors
