1S101 - Locking Kit with Cord
The attachment device of the cord kit is screwed to the end of the liner. The cord goes through the bottom of the socket and is
held by a fixing system outside the socket. Cord traction makes the stump stretch, so it can be introduced into the socket more
easily.
This kit is mainly appropriate for trans-femoral amputees, but can be offered to trans-tibial amputees whose stump is too fleshy in its distal part.
As action is generated by a manual traction on the cord instead of pressure on the stump, this kit provides an perfect solution for patients who are not satisfied with a locking kit with pin.
